Machinery Lubrication Engineer (MLE) Workshop - On Demand

This workshop will help prepare the attendee for the Machinery Lubrication Engineer certification exam. This will review the Body of Knowledge for MLE, including elements such as asset management, machine reliability and maintenance strategies, tribology, friction, wear and lubrication fundamentals, achieving optimum reliability from machinery, common job and task-based skills for lubrication engineers, risk management, root cause analysis and troubleshooting, managing waste and environmental compliance, and much more.  This workshop is not meant to be a comprehensive prep course for the MLE, but experienced individuals may find this workshop helpful in reviewing and preparing to take this exam.

This On-Demand course was recorded in April 2020 with a live web-based audience.  The course is broken into three 2-hour sections that can be viewed at the participant's convenience.  An intro section is also recorded with messages from instructor Rich Wurzbach, MLE, and April 2020 Workshop student, and now certified MLE, Mohammad Naseer Udin.  In this intro we will give you our perspectives on how to utilize these materials to successfully prepare for the ICML MLE Exam.

With this class, you will receive:

1)   ICML 55.1 booklet (hard copy) that would be sent to the candidate


2)   Access to MLE slides pack to view online


3)   Three (~2 hours each) Online MLE Workshop recorded sessions with a total of ~6 hours


4)   A Premeable “Introductory Video” about MLE Workshop session from Mohammad Naseer Uddin and Rich Wurzbach


5)   A One hour live 1-on-1 tutoring and Q&A session with either Rich Wurzbach or Mohammad Naseer Uddin scheduled using a web-conference-must be scheduled within 30 days of buying the Workshop package    


Candidates must have at least 5 years’ education (post-secondary) or on-the-job training in one or more of the following fields: engineering, mechanical maintenance, maintenance trades, lubrication, oil analysis and/or condition monitoring (mechanical machinery). There is no training component requirement to take this exam.  If you plan on taking the ICML Certification Exam at the conclusion of your Workshop, please remember to register for the exam on ICML’s website for in-person exam sessions or online certification exam.

    I sent my Reliability Engineering Manager to the MLE prep course and was very impressed with the content, flow and presentation of the material. I was impressed by how much he was discussing the 55.1 standard after your training. It was a very good investment.
